Another Birthday celebration...this time it was Matt's turn! The family enjoyed a very festive evening at Quality Meats in NYC.

Thea's Favorite Sculpture

This is my favorite sculpture by Isreali artist Ben Itzikshalom (b. 1945) titled The Big Vared. I call it Tom & Thea. Either way, it signifies love....

Grounds for Sculptures - September 2007

Linda & I marvel at Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ., a 35-acre estate magically created by J. Seward Johnson to promote an understanding of and appreciation for sculpture. After Linda danced with Clifford Ward's Jubilant Dancer we dined at the charming and award winning Rats restaurant (truly a name not quite fitting to such an elegant setting!).

Tom & I couldn't be happier living a block from the beach in Ocean Grove. Every weekend there
is either a festival, fair or craft show and there's always excellent ice cream!

In August we were delighted to play hosts to Jilan, my childhood friend, her husband Joe, Dad David and her beautiful children Jackson, Benjamin, and the precious Abella. We all had a blast frolicking in the waves, dipping into ice cream cones, and amusing ourselves on the rides of Point Pleasant's Jenkinson Boardwalk. I'm not sure who had a better time, the kids or the adults!

Barcelona, Spain- May 2007

Working the EuroPC cardiovascular conference in Barcelona, Spain for cvPipeline, we get to spend a little bit of free time with our dear friend Andrew Stover from Washington, DC and his friend Xavier. We were entranced by the parks & buildings of Gaudi, the statues of Gehry and Lichtenstein, and of course by the delicious seafood and tapas found at every corner watering hole.
